Here is a quick error fox for your wordpress if you get “This link does not appear to be a working link. Please check the URL and try again.” from Digg. The problem started yesterday and I also found that the feedburner is also giving “feed does not exist” error. I tried digging a few new posts since yesterday without any success. Then I thought it may be a problem of the Digg. But after doing some research I realized that other wordpress users also suffered the same problem. Unfortunately no one had a good solution. There are some solution like “update your digg plugin” if you use any. But I do not use any plugin for digg at all!

After reading little more I found that the problem is mainly related to the permalink structure. If for some reason Digg sees too Double Title Tags and Double Meta Tags you get the error. So, I got the point. I simply went to my admin control panel and “UPDATED” my permalink structure. WaW, that fixed my problem. Now I can digg my posts again!
Hope this little trick would help some non-tech wp user like myself.
Problem: This link does not appear to be a working link. Please check the URL and try again. - DIGG SUBMISSION ERROR
Solution: Update you Permalink Structure (do not change)
NOTE: DO NOT CHANGE YOUR PERMALINK, JUST “UPDATE”.
